The International Committee of The Red Cross:
Is a humanitarian organization neutrality, impartiality and independently that not merely carry out humanitarian tasks in order to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and violence in the country as well as giving help to them. In cases of armed conflict international and non international, ICRC humanitarian action is based on the Convention and protocol-protocol. This is the reason why we say that a special mandate has been entrusted to ICRC by the community of States parties of the Convention. In cases of internal violence, ICRC action based on the right of humanitarian initiative as in the Statute of the movement.

The ICRC is the guardian of the basic principles of movement and decision makers on the recognition of the National Association of societies, where they became the official part of the movement. The ICRC is working to develop the LHI, explain, and promote the dissemination of the Geneva Conventions. The ICRC is also carrying out duties which inflicted on him by Convention and ensure that the Convention was implemented and expanding it if necessary.

A. ORGANIZATION.

The League of Red Cross and Red Crescent Round.
At the end of World War I most of the regions in Europe is very chaotic, the economy is broken, the population dwindled due to the epidemic, a large number of refugees who are poor and those who have no citizenship meets the continent. The war demonstrated the need for cooperation is clearly a strong link between the Red Cross societies, which due to its activity in wartime can draw thousands of volunteers.
Henry p. Davison, President of the American Red Cross Committee, proposed at the International Medical Conference (April 1919, Cannes France) “to combine the Red Cross societies from various countries into an organization is equivalent to the League of Nations, in terms of the wars of the world to improve health, prevent disease and reduce suffering”.
The League of Red Cross and Red Crescent, was formally established with its headquarters in Paris by the Red Cross: France, United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the United States on May 5, 1919. Objective: to strengthen and unify the existing health activities in the Red Cross Societies and to promote the creation of new societies. The most important part of the Federation are: providing assistance to victims and coordinating natural disasters and epidemics.

The Association Of National .
The association of national the red cross and crescent red is organization humanity were all member countries of the signing of the Geneva conventions . there is no country that can have more than one national union . before a new union agreed to by ICRC and became a member of the federation , some requirement tight must be fulfilled .
According to statute movement union national newly established must be approved by ICRC. to be obtained approval from ICRC , a national the association should fulfill 10 requirement that:
  1. Established in one Country Participants Geneva Convention 1949
  2. The only National Association of Red Cross/Red Crescent in his country's
  3. Recognized by the Government of his country's
  4. The name and emblem of the Red Cross or Red Crescent
  5. Is an independent
  6. Expand activities across the region
  7. Organized and carried out in the exercise of his duties throughout the territory of his country's
  8. Accept members without discriminating background
  9. Approved the Statute of the Movement
  10. Respecting the basic principles of Movement and exercise its duties in line with the principles of LHI.
